Dylan Cochran has a passion for life and especially a passion to worship and write songs. His life with music started at the age of 13 with the harmonica and led to the learning of the guitar, singing and writing songs. He has been involved with various bands in church and in varying worship environments such as retreats, conferences and special events since he was 14. He also wrote and recorded his first album called “Live to Stand” in 2009 and has spent some of his off days the last couple years playing and gigging in the greater Olympia and Spokane, Wa areas. His sophomore album “THE LIVING ROOM” came out in Oct 2013.
“I believe God can change an individual’s life in one moment and this can happen through music and worship.” Dylan believes who we are at home and what we love directly affect our music (and life) and therefore, our influence in the community and world.
The Living Room is all about letting the world and its “stuff” take a back seat in your heart and mind and to fill it with God’s truth in worship… at the end of the day where do we want to be with those we love? Most of the time its home, in The Living Room. It’s where we relax, entertain, play, talk, read, and grow as people – this is God’s best for us, to see us grow in our relationship with him and others!
Dylan attended Northwest University and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music. At school, he was involved in worship bands, concert choir, The Northwest Choralons, and played guitar in the Vocal Jazz group known as Synergy.
Dylan currently serves as the Music Director at Life Center North in Spokane, Wa. He is also a private music teacher and producer at his music studio – 333 Music Studios. He resides in the Spokane area with his wife and 2 sons.
